Spice Hosts New Talk Show, “Spice It Up”
Talk show ‘Spice it Up’ is the newest production on MagnumHub TV, and its featured host is the one and only and epic dancehall superstar Grace ‘Spice’ Hamilton.
Spice seems to be doing it all right now. In addition to being a full time mom to two kids, the multifaceted entertainer, just last month appeared with Sean Paul on Stylo G’s remix of “Dumpling” and released her new single (the shows theme song and topic of the first episode), “Tables Turn”.
A week ago, she wrapped up a feature on Krept & Konan’s single “First Time” alongside Tony Lanez and is currently working on her debut album; set to be released under Shaggy’s label Ranch Entertainment.
Her latest gig ‘Spice it Up’, premiered last Wednesday November 13th and is set to air every Wednesday at 4pm on Magnumhub.tv. The vibrant and energetic Spice starts the show with her iconic slogan ‘binga linga ling’ and jumps right into introducing her co-host and acting deejay, Richie Feelings along with guests, Donisha of Loud Fashions and cricketer-turned-artiste Marlon Samuels, aka the Icon.
Under the focal topic ‘Tables Turn’, the first question posed to her guests was an attention-grabbing one, “Do you embrace ‘bun fi bun’?” Donisha endorsed the idea but immediately admitted that she was once cheated on but didn’t reciprocate.
However, Marlon ‘the Icon’ stole the show with his answer, prompting Spice to ask a second time. “Mi haffi listen dis again”, she said while laughing, after Marlon unpretentiously disclosed that it’s hard to keep track of when he’s giving bun and when he’s getting bun because he usually has 2 to 3 girlfriends at one time. The cricketer further explained that all his girlfriends including the ‘wife’ all know about each other, which would simply mean they are not getting bun with each other.
The show continued to touch on other stimulating topics about threesomes, jealously, falling in love and cheating, provoking debates among the guests complete with belly full of laughs. Tune in to episode 1 on Magnumhub.tv.
The second episode aired November 20th with just as much fun and excitement. ‘On di Couch’ were guest stars, Stacious, ZJ Rush and Rabia with co-host and guest deejay, Trippple X.
The topic “In-Laws” created a stir but struck a nerve particularly with ZJ Rush to say the least. The ZJ said “ Naa bun dat”, “Mi rather homeless and live with my girl, and di two a wi homeless a live under one bridge roun a one park, than fi live with nuh in-laws”. He continued to say in-laws were responsible for mashing up his life and embedded an anger in him that is even present to this day.
Spice along with her opinionated guests were instrumental in the continued interest of the show, discussing other rousing topics on relationship, love, perception and overly involved parents. Tune in to episode 2 on Magnumhub.tv.
Next week’s episode is scheduled to air November 27th, 2019 at 4pm on Magnumhub.tv
