Koffee Hints At Collaboration With Rihanna
Rising star, 19-year-old Koffee and veteran recording artist Rihanna might have a collaboration coming soon.
The information was revealed during Koffee’s recent interview in the Get Up Stand Up issue of i-D magazine‘s Winter 2019 issue. She also graces the cover of the magazine. In the interview, she hints that a collaboration with Rihanna might be in the works. She does admit however that it has not yet been unconfirmed. Fans of the duo are hoping that the announcement can become reality.
Koffee has gained more than 93,000 likes on her Instagram page after posting a shot of the cover page. Her Rapture EP has also received a nomination for the Best Reggae Album Grammy, alongside Julian Marley’s As I Am, Third Word’s More Work To Be Done, Mass Manipulation by Steel Pulse, and The Final Battle: Sly & Robbie vs. Roots Radics by Sly & Robbie and Roots Radics.
Koffee is said to have also written for Rihanna’s highly anticipated reggae album ‘R9’. Her involvement with the album was confirmed by California rapper Haiti Babii during an interview with BET.
Earlier this year Rihanna admitted she is a big fan of the Jamaican singer and posted a video to her Instagram account that showed her enjoying Koffee’s hit song “Toast.”
The song “Toast” is Koffee’s biggest single hit for the year so far and has received 32 million views on YouTube in only five months.
