Popcaan Hitting The Gym Ahead Of Unruly Fest 2019

Musical festival season is finally here, but are you bringing your best body with it?  Well, Popcaan is ready to prove to his 1.8 million followers that he is not just engineered in the lab to have action-hero abs and blockbuster biceps, but has actually put in the time, dedication and effort to gain the body worth flaunting on the big screen.

The unruly boss Popcaan is a beast at the gym-at least according to his Instagram feed. Popcaan is hard at work diving back into a gym routine as he prepares for his Unruly Fest 2019 Performance.  On Tuesday 23rd Nov, The St Thomas-born entertainer posted three videos of himself working out vigorously under the supervision of his trainer from Spry Fitness Centre in Kingston.

In one post, Popcaan shared clips of himself pushing weights, on a sled across the room. In the other two videos, he is seen doing vigorously body sculpting heavy ropes workout and resistance band exercises under the keen supervision of his trainer. “@unrulyfest prep” he pridefully captioned the videos

Popcaan’s post garnered a plethora of comments from fans who appreciated the musician’s candidness toward getting fit again.

“Must keep healthy. Never neglect your health to chase after wealth, because sometimes all the wealth in the world can’t buy back your health. They go hand in hand,” one user commented

Other fans teased the “Firm and Strong” artiste about his fitness levels, which they commented was sub-par.

“Well, now we know poppy could be a certified hand cart man.” One fan commented.

The Unruly Fest 2019 which is in its second staging will be held at Good Year tyre factory on December 21. At the launch held on 30, October, at Triple Century Sports Bar in New Kingston, the organizer said that they plan to make this year’s show to be spectacular. He also announced that local entertainers such as Jah Frass, Sizzla Kalonnji, Agent Sasco, Bounty Killer, Capleton, and Quada were in the line-up for this year’s event. During the first staging of the event, about 15,000-plus fans witnessed the show which featured surprise International rappers Drake and Tory Lanez. The question on everybody’s lip is which International artiste could outdo Drake’s 2018 performance? Well, we can’t wait to see.
