Vybz Kartel Declares He Is Still King: “Any Other King A Burger King”

Vybz Kartel may be behind bars but he still wants the dancehall kingdom to know that he is King. While it’s not quite clear who is declaring himself king to, there are many artistes in the dancehall space trying to claim that spot right now.

Some fans believe he is directing his fire at Masicka, who invited people to come and celebrate his birthday and “roll out and celebrate with the new King of dancehall.” The lyrics are scathing and can be aimed at anyone in the industry who Kartel perceives as coming for his throne.  Masika’s manager, Corey Todd and Kartel appear to have some history. Todd said in an interview earlier this year that he had sacrificed and paved the way for Kartel. Masika hasn’t responded to the tune as yet but fans will be waiting to see what his response will be.

Kartel who still has fans lusting for more of his infectious hits dropped 50 new songs in 2016 alone, while behind bars. He used his Instagram to post the song lyrics and stamp his authority on dancehall kingdom declaring #ADIADIKING.
