Spice Responds To The ‘Dancehall Pastor’ Who Wants To Do A Collab About Temptation
The sultry women of dancehall have always exuded sexiness. Spice is no exception to this rule. She has been hailed by many as the queen of dancehall and men from all over the world agree she is one of the sexiest Jamaican performers.
Her feminine wiles have caught the eye of Pastor Stephen Blake who calls himself the ‘Dancehall Pastor’. According to the Jamaica Star he has set his eyes on getting Spice to do a collaboration with him about resisting temptation.
“Several years ago, I heard Spice was interested to do a gospel song, but up to now, I have not heard [any] with her. I would love if the Temptation collaboration could be with her, Sister Grace Hamilton. It is not a call for attention … I want Spice to see that … why not reach to the top?” Blake told the Star. “She would bring the fire,” he said of Spice who once begged Vybz Kartel to “spin me like a satellite dish” in their hit song Ramping Shop.
Spice later responded on her Instagram page, saying that she is ready for the Dancehall Pastor and invited him to come let them go down on their knees together.
She even offered to write the song, saying “Gospel is my favorite Genre”. Fans joined in the conversation with one commenter advising the pastor to “walk away from this one”.
The popular pastor had said that he believes doing a collaboration with Spice would help both males and females to stay on the right path. Blake recently featured in dancehall news when he was baptised at Boasy Tuesdayz by selector Boom Boom and ordained as the official ‘Pastor of the Dancehall’.
Pastor Blake is known for attending parties and other secular events in dancehall as he said he wants to share his light. Earlier in the year he showed up unannounced at Uptown Mondays to everyone’s surprise. At the event he grabbed a microphone and shared scriptures from the bible and even a few verses of his contemporary gospel single God A Me Boss. He even shared a few dance moves with dance Guru Ding Dong.
