Jada Kingdom Drops New Single “Heavy”, Launches Online Store

Jamaican entertainer and social media personality, Jada Kingdom, born Jada Murphy, has been showing why she is a worthy contender in the dancehall space. She has been releasing some thought-provoking tracks, ever since she burst on the music scene in 2017, with the release of her single, Love Situations and her 2018 hit, Banana.

Now, she is captivating the airwaves with her new song, Heavy.

Jada has been known for her unique style of singing, which is injected with an international flair. Heavy was released on Thursday, December 5 and has accumulated over 70,000 views to date. The single has a Reggaeton/Dancehall beat and as expected by hearing the title, Jada sings about her bumpa being ‘heavy’ and tells her partner in the dance to brace himself. The track is ideal for parties and is a reflection of how talented Jada is, as she is known to be able to sing just about anything.

Heavy comes just one week after the release of her music video for Execution, a song that calls for capital punishment for sexual offenders, which is currently trending at number 13 on YouTube and has over 280,000 views.

Outside of music, Jada is also making other business moves. She recently launched her online store, jadakingdom.myshopify.com, which offers customers custom designed phone cases, beanies, hoodies, and shirts. Some of her merchandise is even sporting her song title, Heavy.

Dancehall lovers have been keeping a close eye on Jada Kingdom, especially after she released her diss track against fellow Jamaican female artiste, fast-rising music sensation, Shenseea. The track, Sheng-Heng, now over 1 million views on YouTube, received incredible reception and some would say, cemented Jada even further as the one to watch.

Although Shenseea hasn’t responded, Jada has been riding on the wave that was created after the song’s release ever since and has continued to thrill her fans with new music.
