‘Trending Gyal’ Shenseea Is Trending In High Schools!

In one of Shenseea’s latest Instagram posts, the dancehall songstress detonates a burst of energy in the students at Merl Grove High School. Bringing a sea of smiles on a hoard of adolescent faces.

Most of us have had this experience at our high schools growing up in Jamaica. In the midst of boring classrooms, terrifying exams and other monotonous school obligations, one day a star appears. It’s such a thrill and when given the green light to relish in it all, we don’t hold back in the celebrations.

This was the apparent case as seen on Shenseea‘s Instagram page. Her young Shengyeng fans roaring out her song as she performs in an over-packed school auditorium. The kids were cheering, beaming sporadic (phone) lights and fervently rocking out to her songs like ‘Trending Gyal’ and ‘Blessed’. The artiste is seen basking in all the adoration and having the time of her life.

It was a good move by Romeich Entertainment to execute such an event at the ending of the Christmas semester. It is the perfect way to send the students off on the holidays.

The ‘Blessed’ singer is scheduled to make other appearances at other high schools around Kingston.

In her post, she added the caption, “Since my shows have an age limit I decided to do a pop up on my #Shenyengz in High School 💙 Immaculate see you tomorrow #SHENYENG #HIGH.”

In less than 24 hours she has racked up over 300,000 views and comments teeming through the roof. Her fans, praising the Shengyeng queen for delivering an awesome performance and generating such an ecstatic reaction from the students. Her usual celeb friends like Ding Dong, Bad Gyal Cecile, DJ Diplo, and manager Romeich were to first to fill her comment feed.
