Govana Asks Fans To Pick Cover For Upcoming Debut Album

The hype is building for Govana’s much-anticipated debut album and the Champ singer wants his fans to help him select the cover.  The forthcoming album, which is titled Humans and Monsters Are Not The Same, is expected to be released on January 10, 2020.

The 4th Genna dancehall artiste, whose real name is Romeo Nelson took to his Twitter and Instagram accounts yesterday to offer four images of himself dressed in a red suit and black shirt as choices for the album cover.

Fellow entertainer Koffee jumped in comments on Instagram and suggested #3 as her pic.

“TOMORROW IS GONNA BE EXACTLY 1 MONTH TO THE RELEASE OF MY DEBUT PROJECT #humansandmonstersarenotthesame THIS PROJECT IS FOR YOU MY FANS SO I WANT YOU TO BE APART OF IT …. HELP ME PICK THE PIC FOR MY OFFICIAL ALBUM COVER… IS IT 1,2,3 or 4 ??? COMMENT UR PICK”,  Govana said in the Instagram post yesterday.

In an interview with the Jamaica Observer,  Govana said that soon to be released album is a collective effort with various producers he has worked with over the years. “We have eight collaborations on the project. We purposely worked with several producers to get the variety right and to have different sounds from each producer,” he said.

Chimney Records, Big Zim Records, The Ultimate Dream Team, Quantanium Records, Emudio Productions and LMR Productions are some of the producers contributing to H.A.M.A.N.T.S. and the album will feature the mega hit single Champ as well The Light Ft. Dre Island, Loyalty, Unanswered Ft. Taurus Riley, and Cups Up.  The 7 remaining tracks are yet to be revealed.

Under the mentor-ship of Aidonia, Govana has been enjoying a very successful run over the last two years with a slew of hits that have dominated the airwaves.
