Macka Diamond Claps Back At Age Shaming With New Photos

Macka Diamond is proving that diamonds are forever!

The 48-year-old Jamaican dancehall singer showed off her body in two Instagram photos Thursday and clapped back at online trolls and “haters” who have been age-shaming her choice of outfits, as well as her continued presence in dancehall while other female artists her age have retired.

In the two photos Macka, whose real name is Chamaine Munroe, shows us she can still get down and flaunts her toned legs in very small and tight shorts [batty rider].

“The only reason why u saying I’m too old to be dressing like this it’s because u dont look good in them anymore hater” she captioned the photos.

Macka Diamond, who has been in the dancehall business since the age of 16, also added that good loving and loving herself are the secrets to her still youthful appearance. “A the #cucumber and loving myself and showing u all that age is jus a f$#kin number hello”, she said.

Her Instagram posts attracted almost 2,000 likes and many supportive comments from fans.

One fan wrote “Some people do not take care of themselves once they reach age 30. They eat all kinds of junk food and don’t eat healthy so by the time they are 40, their skin shrivels and they become full of wrinkles. This is how all women are supposed to look at your age. You dress for your shape and your body is beautiful. You, Lisa Hanna, D’Angel, Ce’cile are in your 40s and are an example of how women should care for themselves. Wear what you want once you look good in it. Mek dem go learn fi tek care a demself.”

“Haters gonna be mad no matter what you do. It’s easy to sit at home & chat badmind tings bout other ppl. They out here wishing they could live life like you. PRETTY GYAL TEAM, WOIIII 👏🏾🔥🔥✨”, another fan added.

Her last single, Cucumber was released in September.

Earlier this year, trolls attacked Macka Diamond by first editing her age to 77 years old, and finally an outrageous 119 year old on Wikipedia. The fake ages had also appeared on Google searches for the dancehall artiste.

Macka responded by threatening legal action. “I’m taking action already. I’ve been on the phone all weekend, getting some understanding. Me and my lawyers are gonna figure it out,” she told THE STAR.
