Popcaan Flies Onto Unruly Fest 2019 Stage
Popcaan started his Unruly Fest 2019 performance by taking flight via a harness rig in spectacular fashion. He took the stage in the wee hours of Sunday morning and kicked off his performance with a rendition of his 2010 hit Dream, while soaring above the audience. Watch it below.
The show, which was held at Goodyear Oval in St Thomas, was completely sold out. There was a 2 hour delay to the start of the show and some major traffic chaos as patrons moved in and out of the venue.
The daring aerial performance required a crane and was the first of its kind in Jamaica which left the audience in awe, as countless drones buzzed around the St Thomas native to capture the display.
In between verses of Dream, Popcaan paused to give a shout out to the Worl’ Boss Vybz Kartel who is currently incarcerated on a life sentence for murder and awaiting the verdict on an appeal. He said of Kartel, “ah you mek dis possible”.

I applaud Popcaan’s efforts in trying to give back to his Parish, but St Thomas rlly aint it for such large crowds. It was one big clusterfuck trying to get into the venue. I enjoyed his performance tho, 10/10!!! #UnrulyFest2019
