Quada’s New Music Video Featuring Projexx Gets Rave Reviews
Millennial dancehall artiste Quada is riding major waves with the release of his new music video for his single Make A Way, which features Projexx . The film launched on YouTube yesterday on January 1 st 2020 and is already racking up a huge number of views; so far it has over 48k views and counting.
Quada has had several hit songs since he joined Popcaan’s Unruly Entertainment Label a few years ago. Last year his track Celebration featuring Jah Vinci snagged over 6.5 million views on YouTube and early this year his single Hail had similar trending effects, accumulating over 6.8 million views. It looks like Make A Way is on its way to achieving the same level of success.
The dancehall artiste added clips of the video on his Instagram page upon its release, one he captioned, “New decade new sounds new music new video 🙌🏽Outnow🔥”.
The one-minute extract hit on some hard-hitting lyrics and showcases high quality audiovisuals, already causing a hoard of fan reaction.
Some of the comments read, christopherxmckenzie: Powerful 💥| oraineja: International sound | iamtuppy: Yessss @quadawellbad uh start off the 2020 Inna the best way🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️| horace.spaulding.50: That kind of songs i love to hear mad.
The video casts the perfect setting for the smooth tenor of the song. It starts with the two deejays seemingly stranded on a beautiful serene beach, only to be rescued by a fishing boat some time after. They make it ashore and are then picked up by a friend who takes them to the second scene in the video, an unfinished building lit up with dozens of taper candlesticks. Quada and Projexx deliver the rest of the song with silky sounding tones while a ballerina dances and twirls to the beat. They are later joined by a small clan of friends who all chime in for the ending of the video.
The Make a Way music video was done by videographers Richie Bakez and Davyfreshh, produced by Castanheiro Music and distributed by Zojak Worldwide. The composition is a breath of fresh air amidst the extensive catalog of crude depiction in music videos of today. It’s a great interpretation of the song however modest.
