Koffee To Join Shenseea and Squash For Viewtopia Music Fest During Super Bowl Weekend
Jamaican Reggae Sensation, Mikayla ”Koffee” Simpson, was recently added to the lineup of artistes slated to perform at the Viewtopia Music Fest. Viewtopia will be held during the Super Bowl Weekend from January 31 to February 1 at Marlins Park in Miami Florida.
The announcement comes after Jamaican dancehall stars, Shenseea and Squash, were named among the performers for the highly anticipated event. Viewtopia shared a photo with the lineup on their Instagram page and fans just could not contain their excitement after seeing Koffee’s name on the updated list, which also features heavy hitters such as Cardi B, Migos, Chris Brown, DJ Khaled, and Burna Boy.

The Ragamuffin singer was previously confirmed for one of the biggest music festivals in the United States known as Coachella, to be held from April 10-19 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. One can then imagine how thrilling it was to hear that the young star would be now be gracing the stage of yet another huge international concert.
Since the release of Koffee’s hit single Toast, off her Grammy-nominated EP, Rapture, she has been unstoppable in the music scene. There’s no denying that Koffee is one of, if not the favorite to win the Best Reggae Album Grammy award, for which Rapture is nominated. Celebrities such as Kylie Jenner and even Rihanna have praised the song, uploading videos of themselves vibing to the track.
Koffee has been placing more focus on international collaborations since 2019. Not long after it was revealed that she had been working with Rihanna on her upcoming album, popularly referred to as R9, Koffee has released songs with overseas acts such as Gunna, with whom she dropped the single W. The track has been well received across Jamaica, with over 5.8 million views on YouTube.
There’s no looking back now for the 19-year-old, who signed with the American record label, Columbia Records, in 2019. We can only stand back and be amazed at where her talent will lead.
