Quada In Police Custody In Connection With Murder Investigation
Dancehall artiste Quada has been detained by Jamaican police for questioning about a murder. He turned himself into to the police after they made it public that he was wanted for questioning, earlier in the week, according to sources close to the Unruly camp.
Unruly boss Popcaan took to Instagram yesterday evening (January 14th) and shared a vague message about how he felt about the situation. He said: “wul them enuh wild crocs GOD over every demon and devils yo bless fam just know that🙏🏿🙏🏿 #UNRULY”.
It seemed to be a veiled message to Quada’s fans that something has gone wrong.
Many fans commented under Popcaan’s post but didn’t seem to be clear that there was trouble in the camp. One fan said: “Good over evil youth #godnaahsleep 🙏, another stated: “Trouble deh deh 🤘🏽 @quadawellbad 🐊🐊🐊”.
However the vast majority of Popcaan fans seemed oblivious and simply replied with fire emojis and encouraging comments about Quado’s talent.

Jamaican gossip blog Pink Wall posted that the artiste was wanted by the Stony Hill police. Quada is reportedly wanted for questioning regarding the mob style killing of a mentally ill man in Stony Hill. The dead man was accused of abducting and killing Chantae Skyers. After the 8-year-old girl’s body was found, the community attacked the mentally ill man and killed him.
Quada first made headlines at Popcaan’s Unruly Clash Wednesdays in 2016 and at 21-years-old became first signee to Unruly Entertainment. He released over 15 songs last year including Fear We an Alkaline Diss and Hail.
