Quada Shares His ‘Pain’ In A New Song After Murder Charges
Dancehall artiste Quada, who was today granted bail on murder and arson charges, has dropped a new song called ‘Pain’.
The official audio debuted on Youtube today and has already racked up tens of thousands of views in just a few hours. The song was produced by Drop Top Records & Unruly Entertainment and distributed by Johnny Wonder.
He uses the song to give praise to Dancehall for saving him from going down the wrong path as he says “if ah never for music me mad ah bloodclat.”
He also uses the song to draw attention to the plight of ghetto youths who he said are forced to live on sidewalks. Quada adds that he doesn’t associate with “upper class”.
The hook of the song suggests that Quada is going through some emotions right now as he says “dem say life come with pain, sunshine come after rain.” In another part of the track Quada clearly states that he doesn’t want to go to jail because of the people around him who can’t seem to stop being violent.
He also pays homage to the people who are looking for an honest living to end their struggles and said he respects people like himself who stay in their lane. In another line he says “me nah wah go a jail, me nah wah take your life,” which is an interesting line, considering he teased this song on his Instagram page just one day before he gave himself up to the police in Jamaica.
