Burna Boy Teases Hot Koffee Collab In New Studio Clip: Watch

Koffee is not taking time to rest following her Grammy win and seems to be moving ahead full steam.  Another chart topper may soon be released from her and Burna Boy.

Burna Boy, whose real name is Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu posted a video clip to his Instagram account which started with him performing at a club and was followed by a studio session with Koffee.

The 19 year-oldToast singer can be heard laying down her unique style on what seems to be a beat that is a combination of Dancehall and Afrobeats.

Burna Boy, who hails from Nigeria has been in the game since 2012 after he released Like to Party, the lead single from his debut studio album L.I.F.E (2013).

He won Best International Act at the 2019 BET Awards and was announced as Apple Music’s Up Next artist. Last year he released his fourth studio album African Giant, which won Album of the Year at the 2019 All Africa Music Awards and was also nominated for Best World Music Album at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards.

One of his most popular songs Ye which was produced in 2018 has over 62 million views on YouTube since it was premiered. Koffee’s Toast has over 100 million views so far.

This will be a big collaboration for both artistes. Especially since the five seconds of the song posted on Instagram sounds like an absolute hit.

The two have openly expressed admiration for each other’s work. Koffee covered Ye last year on BBC Radio 1Xtra and Burna Boy showered the young artiste with praise for her performance of the same song in London.

His fans reacted excitedly at the potential collaboration and welcomed the move. One fan said: “Burna Boy ft. Koffee💙💖💙💖 FINALLY!!!!!”, another said: “Burna ft Koffee ❤️🚀”, while another added: “🐐 goat,and icon”. Another fan summed it up: “Burna + Koffee!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥.”

The short video clip has already been viewed over 294, 000 times and it was posted just over 12 hours ago (February 4th).
