Jafrass & Jah Vinci Team Up For ‘Wicked’ Single And Music Video: Watch

Dancehall artists Jahfrass and Jah Vinci have teamed up yet again for a fire-filled video for their single, ‘Wicked’.

The song is on the more grimy side of dancehall, but Jah Vinci still manages to provide a smooth-singing hook with Jahfrass’ voice to contrast his own. The song was produced by NotNice Records and the gritty video was directed by Wikidmedia.

The dancehall duo, both signed to NotNice Records, are quickly becoming a fan-favourite, with this being their second collaboration. In 2019, they teamed up together on If They Know, which has since racked up over 4 million views on Youtube.

Over the past two years, Jah Vinci has been working to seal his comeback on the local music scene after taking a step back and working as an independent artist. The singer first tasted success early in his career as part of Vybz Kartel‘s Portmore Empire. When the group disbanded following Kartel’s incarceration, Jah Vinci’s career slowed down and eventually, the artist has to re-establish himself in the genre. His biggest solo hit of last year, Heart Too Clean has received over two million views since its release.

Jafrass, on the other hand, is still working to establish his place in dancehall. But with NotNice, Jah Vinci and Popcaan as alliances, the artist has found his formula for success.
