New Music On The Way From Vybz Kartel And Young Addi?

Dancehall’s Worl’ Boss might be gearing up to drop another hit from behind bars. Vybz Kartel (Adidja Azim Palmer) posted the news on his Instagram page but didn’t give any clues as to what the new music might sound like or was about.

The new music seems like it will be focused on his doppelganger who is referred to as the Vybz Kartel “Look Alike” or “Young Addie”.

He posted a series of photos on his Instagram yesterday featuring Young Addie which were captioned “New muzik on da way #kartelookalike #gazanation #runawaybayempire #ochiempire #vybzkartel.”

In 2019 Young Addie, whose real name is Anthoniel McGregor, put Spice on blast as he claimed that she did not pay him for appearing in her video in “Conjugal Visit.” That video went to get over 50 million views.

Kartel may be embracing the lookalike though, as his post has a few pictures of Young Addi in what looks like the shoot for the new song.

In 2015 Young Addi who is also a recording artiste, announced that he would be taking bookings from persons interested in filming music videos for songs recorded by Vybz Kartel. He said that even though he still intends to focus on his music career, he wants to use the fame he’s gotten as a Kartel lookalike to make connections in the music industry.
