Kemar Highcon Drops Debut EP ‘Sauce Is Forever’

Fast-rising Dancehall artist, Kemar Highcon is on a steady path to success and 2020 has just witnessed how powerful of a force he is within the music and entertainment industry, with the release of his much-anticipated debut album, Sauce is Forever.

The album release was held last Tuesday evening (Feb 11) at the MECA lounge Marketplace in St. Andrew, Jamaica.

The 29-year-old musician made his way into the music industry in 2013 and became a hit sensation in 2019 with his hit song, So Saucy placing him at the forefront of the music industry and also bagging two major corporate deals with Digicel and Pizzahut.

The artist has finally put to bed weeks of speculation and rumors surrounding the unveiling of his highly anticipated EP. The artiste now ascends into the hall of fame for dancehall stars, claiming his rightful position, though not where he wants to be but determined to have his brand stained on the music industry.

The EP features a total of seven songs combined to create a saucy Tracklist. This includes Calling My Name; Come For Me; Run Di Road; Followers; Regardless; Talk Bout and So Saucy.

Kemar told DancehallMag in an interview that he seeks to use his platform as an avenue where he can divulge inspirational content that will allow others to recognize and actualize their true potentials.

“Sauce Forever is a center of self-motivation. It puts you in a frame of mind and remembrance of what you need to be and how you need to be in life,” he said blissfully.

Releasing his first studio production, he expressed how overwhelmed he was with the responses and support he has been receiving from fans all over.

“I just want all my fans to know that I appreciate them, especially those on a weekday who came out and showed me some love. This means so much to me,” the artist said.

Queen of dancehall Spice, who was out in full support of Kemar’s EP release, shared with us that she is extremely elated for the hard work he has been doing and she was delighted to be a part of his So Saucy (remix).

“It’s really a real pleasure. Just continue gwan do the ting, yuh know how di ting go,” she told DancehallMag.
