Sikka Rymes Says He’s ‘Ready’ To Defend His Dawgs In New Track: Watch Video
Gaza member Sikka Rymes has a new dancehall track he calls Ready , the deejay dropped the official music video on February 21st on YouTube with credits to Great X Production and C.V.E. Video Entertainment who shot the visuals.
The theatrical scenes in the video portray the betrayal of a colleague Raza, who has been caught red handed parring with the enemies, even frolicking with a questionable female subject. Upon being exposed, Raza’s fate is left in the hands of the boss man Sikka who sends his pack to retrieve him. This is when Sikka starts spitting the Ready lyrics:
“Shawn Storm ready ready, Gaza, Gaza we ready ready, defend it anyway dawg dem nu ready, go fi dem duppy dem dead aready … .. . If dem eva diss none a mi dawgs dem, butcha deh yasso fi chop dem up wid di machete”.
He then goes on to throw some shade and what many are assuming is a diss towards Chronic Law, saying “Naa follow no law mi a nu Chronic”. However it really just sounds like some appropriating rhyming for the message he was trying to bring across. He is not a law-abiding person when it comes on to someone dissing his dawgs because he will put his machete to use.
The rest of the video plays out how Sikka and his dawgs penalize Raza for his disloyalty. The entire cast puts on a befitting performance to execute the message of the track — check out the video below.
This is the sixth song release this year from the Gaza VP. The video for Gaza to the Bone came out a month ago after his shooting on January 5, the official audio for Wul It Out was the day after, then came Loyalty on January 10th, he ended out the month with Change Gonna Come on January 30th and then What If a little under 2 weeks ago on February 12th.
Sikka has been working overtime as well, collaborating with the Worl’ Boss, Vybz Kartel on other tracks like Delusional and Celebration, without a doubt he has been quite busy and keeping his fans happy — the Teacha must be proud.
