TeeJay Debuts Music Video For Another Smash Hit ‘Blessing’: Watch
Dancehall artiste TeeJay is definitely on a roll, releasing another smash hit just last week titled Blessing and premiering the music video today February 21st. It’s also getting a lot of traction, in just 12 hours the video has accumulated over 50k views that appears to be rapidly increasing.
In the song Blessing, the Up Top Boss cements his self-made baller status but brings awareness to all that glitters is not gold, as with fame comes hate from onlookers. In the lyrics, he says:
“See blessings a come and wah throw me down … . true dem nu gat nu money, life a live like dummy, still a lean pon Mommy suh dem feel like dem can style yute”
“Make the money and nu bag a talk, remember weh mi a come from and mi nu waa fi go back a past. Life sweet mi nu have a fault, mi a stack up the cheddar meanwhile you a follow a braff”.
The music video is another great production, shot and edited by African Kydd and produced by Slyda Di Wizard. The scenes are of subdued nature with Teejay delivering his lyrics on a scenic hillside over-looking the distant seascape with glimpses of his onstage performances and some bike riding at night. However understated, the visuals are of a premium standard and professional quality.
TeeJay was just featured in a hot collaboration with Moyann last month, January 23rd on the single Bruk Pocket Man . The two flaunted their too rich to handle rhymes in a topnotch music video by DJ Frass Records. Then two weeks prior on January 2nd he debuted another video on the same label for his impactful single Day One which mounted over 1 million views.
Then there is his other single From Rags to Riches , which was just released two weeks ago on February 7th, which documents his rise to fame and being in a place where ‘he’s doing okay and doing alright’.
