Intence And Iwaata Set To Join Jahvillani At Alkaline’s ‘New Rules’ Festival
Dancehall artiste Alkaline will be returning to headline the New Rules festival and concert at the National Stadium in Kingston on April 25th, 2020. There has been a few changes in the location of the venue but preparations and more details of the show are actually now materializing. Some details of those who will be joining Alkaline on the stage have also just been revealed.
So far Jahvillani, Intence and Iwaata are the other acts that have been confirmed and scheduled to perform.
Intence and Iwaata were just recently added to the roster. The two deejays are an inseparable bunch, however in a recent interview with OnStage host Winford Williams, they insisted that they are not a team or duo by any means, but share a deep camaraderie for one another so much so that they don’t accept bookings if the other isn’t signed as well.
According to his manager, the Vendetta boss Alkaline is excited to grace his fans on the stage for the second time here in Jamaica, he is also confident that he will dominate once again. This is the third show under the brand as the second one was held at the Amazura nightclub in Queens New York.
The first staging of the New Rules concert in Jamaica was in 2017 and what an epic one it was. The turn out of fans were so massive that it morphed the show’s ranks up there with some of the big production names in the business.
The show has featured major dancehall acts including the MVP heads, Mavado, and Jahmiel, along with Shaggy. The 2020 event is being heavily promoted on several media platforms and already fans can wait to see their favorite deejays and entertainers — tickets are available on the website, newrules.firstinlineja.com.
