Uptown Greatness UTG (Likkle Vybz & Likkle Addi) Debut First EP Titled Skinny Jeans
Uptown Greatness (UTG) popularly known as the duo of Likkle Addi and Likkle Vybz and the son prodigies of the legend himself Adidja ‘Vybz Kartel’ Palmer, have made good on their word. The EP Skinny Jeans debuted today February 28th as they asserted a few weeks ago. The EP features 10 tracks titled:
- Paid Inna Full
- Skinny Jeans (Remix)
- Dollar Sign
- Couldn’t Careless
- Zara Man
- Hear Dem
- What U Gonna Do
- And She Promised featuring Vybz Kartel
- Use to It
- Magneato featuring Vybz Kartel
The official audio for each track has been added to Likkle Vybez’s YouTube page for an extensive exhibition of the songs, with the credits assigned to producer Short Boss Music and distributer Johnny Wonder.
While there are a couple tracks on the EP that the two brothers collaborated on, there are others that were done exclusively by each. Likkle Addi did Dolla Sign, Zara Man and What You Gonna Do, whereas his big bro deejayed solely on the track Couldn’t Careless. Then of course, the Worl’ Boss himself added his two cents on the tracks And She Promised and Magneato.
The music video for the flagship track Skinny Jeans premiered late last year in October, transforming the youngsters’ career to great reverence. The song demonstrated better proficiency in their deejaying skills than the previous music they had released under the moniker PG13, which was during the beginning of their career. Not only did this enlighten fans of their matured lyrical swag and talent but is also made them eager to hear more.
Skinny Jeans, after being released just 4 months ago has raked in over 1.6 million views on YouTube. Similarly, the December debut of the Dollar Sign music video has snatched up more than 1.2 millions views as well.
We know there is another music video in the making; just yesterday Kartel shared two behind the scene clips of both Likkle Addi and Likkle Vybz in the middle of a video shoot. One showed Likkle Addi counting wads of cash as two female dancers prowled in front of him while the other scene takes place in a private living room area where the deejays are entertaining a few lady friends. The music video is being made for the track Hear Dem as you can hear the song playing in he background.
With the steady succession of musical releases and projects from UTG, it seems like their newly revived career is in full swing. The EP is already getting a lot of buzz and the viewership is mounting. Check out the tracks for Skinny Jeans below –
