Spice Treats Her Doppelgänger Superfan To A Makeover
Spice continues to make headlines with her YouTube show Spice Official World. On Thursday, May 21st the Dancehall Queen did a makeover episode with one of her biggest fans. This was no ordinary fan, however.
The young Spice admirer, Kimona actually looks a whole lot like the dancehall artiste.
The proceedings of the show took Spice out of the usual confinement of her apartment to a local salon, Stush Beauty Lounge. Owner, Larissa opened the doors (yep, we’re still in quarantine) to take on Spice and her crew for taping along with giving Kimona a ‘Spice Makeover.’
Spice in a salon? You know that also meant that she would be getting her hair and makeup done as well. Although, she did say it was a part of the process for Larissa to do both hers and Kimona’s look the exact same way for a true test to see if the super fan was really her doppelgänger.
Well, beautician Larissa got right to work, (with Kimona’s face completely hidden behind an emoji), she began applying makeup, quickly nailing the ‘Spice eyebrows’ to Spice’s satisfaction. As the cosmetics continued, the Rolling deejay took the opportunity to get to know her super fan a little more, after all, she might be doing a couple of shows for deejay soon.
Turns out they have a few things in common, Kimona is Jamaican and moved to Georgia in 2018, the same time Spice did, to start filming for Love and Hip Hop Atlanta. The Delta and American Express worker finally saw her dream materializing when she glimpsed Spice at the airport one day. Without the slightest care of losing her job, Kimona dropped everything to meet her idol.
Spice recalled the day she met her doppelgänger and said there was something genuine about her. She gave the young airport worker her cell number and kept in contact, which ultimately landed her in the salon for the show that day.
The questions soon turned to Spice, but not before the big reveal. Larissa was all done, and Spice’s twin was introduced to the world.
Aqua blue shoulder-length wigs, faces on fleek and all-black ensembles, the two spun around to shock audiences. “Spice you sure she’s not your twin sister 😍 you guys looking good too 😍,” and “Twin sister this, she looks exactly like you spice” as well as “Omg she really look like spice” were just some of the comments on the segment’s feed.
They sat down later for a one-and-one, where Spice #2 cross-examined Spice #1 to reveal some juicy deets about Jamaica’s favorite dancehall Queen. Spice says she is singl’ish, only dating one guy as she ‘accidentally’ held up two fingers. She also revealed that while she talks a big game in her overly raunchy songs, she doesn’t quite know how to perhaps ‘slap it pon di ground like she a mop it’ as the lyrics in her So Mi Like single suggests she does for example.
She said, “I’m a creative writer so sometimes I just put words together but yuh nuh mi gwaan wid miself doah yuh nuh, like in a di bedroom.” Intrigued that Kimona was able to snatch up a husband after two months of dating (revealed earlier), Spice then turned to her for some bedroom advice.
Kimona said moaning, passionate name-calling and sexual demands all while listening to songs like Cool It were just some of her strategies. Check out the full episode for more juicy details below.
