American R&B singer August Alsina is clearly basking in his latest scandal of ‘entanglement’ with movie star actress Jada Pinkett Smith. The 27-year-old singer confirmed long-time rumors of a secret romance between him and Jada in an interview with Angela Yee on The Breakfast Club, in late June.

Jada also confirmed August’s statements sometime later, referring to the affair as an ‘entanglement.’ To the amusement of the masses came an onslaught of several funny memes on social media, and now Alsina has a new song entitled Entanglement featuring rapper tycoon Rick Ross.

In what looks like further exploit of the situation, is the release of his third studio album The Product III: stateofEMERGEncy that debuted on June 26. This seems especially calculated since August has been MIA from the music scene for a while now, but according to the media, his hiatus from music was due to an illness, which has eventually been diagnosed Guillain-Barré syndrome. However, it was during the promotional run for his new album that he brought the affair with Jada to light.

Now August’s new track with Ross, Entanglement has hit trending, and while it seems like an accomplishment for the young artiste, having put in such ‘strategic’ exertions, it has come at the distaste of many, particularly dancehall singer Kranium, notoriously known for his hit single Nobody Has To Know .  Kranium, of course, agrees that Alsina should’ve just kept his mouth shut about the whole affair.

“Kranium blessed us with “Nobody has to know” and this chatty patty August Alisna just set us back 20 years. Fam, couldn’t you have just enjoyed your lil vibe and stfu?,” said Twitter user @LC_Smalls yesterday.

Kranium highly approved the statement and retweeted boldly, “FOR REAL!!”

The deejay also dubs his Gal Policy hit, the “entangled sound track.”

We have to give it to Alsina, though; he did keep things under wraps and denied the affair for a couple of years, seemingly living through the lessons of the philandering Dancehall deejay.

Interestingly, a fan, Ciwa April, commented on Kranium’s ‘cheating anthem’ just 4 days ago over on YouTube to say, “I’m pretty sure this song was what inspired Jada and August entanglement.”

With all that is unveiling these days, it could be Alsina was plotting this scheme for years to come, or the opportunity simply unfolded just at the right time. Nonetheless, it was at the expense of an unsuspecting Jada and her family, so ‘chatty patty’ Alsina could have really avoided this messy exposure.
