LHHATL Star Spice Celebrates Her Birthday With New House In Atlanta To Surprise Kids

The Queen of Dancehall, Spice, had multiple reasons to celebrate yesterday, August 6.

Besides ringing in her 38th birthday in style and celebrating Jamaica’s significant milestone of 50 years of Independence, she was also able to reveal that she’s bought a new home in Atlanta for her children.

She shared a video on her YouTube channel, also yesterday, where she explained that her children saw the house but had no idea she bought it. She took some time to carry out renovations and ensure that everything in the house was functional, including the children’s bedrooms.

She used the YouTube video to surprise them. An excited Spice gave viewers a sneak peak before the big reveal.

She then opens the video with her children, thinking that they are just house hunting as they have been doing for the last two months, according to her daughter. As they tour the first two-story home, the children become more and more excited at the space and furnishings. After passing the spacious kitchen, they make their way upstairs along with the real estate agent, Brandy, who also plays along. As her son is showed his room, he described it as “perfect.”

The group then moves on to tour four more houses, according to Spice. They marvel at the second home, which seems to be bigger than the first with more modern furnishings. Even though the children are not aware, this one has obviously been set up for them as the colour schemes were chosen before, and even her son’s bedroom is already set up with his game station. The children marvel at the backyard from her daughter’s balcony as they continue to tour the house. At the end of the tour, they gather in the kitchen where Spice asks her children to read two cards she’s put out for them in unison. They read aloud what the card says and then break out in excitement upon the realization that the home has been purchased.

“I know that I’ve been away from you but you are the reason for the things I do. I work so hard to make our dreams come through, every sacrifice was just for you. I hope you know that I love you, everything I do is for you, now you have not one but two smiles, this house belongs to you.”

Spice then explains that the children chose the house but had no idea that she purchased it.

“You notice they didn’t even recognize the house. I did over the floors, the cupboards,” she said as she told them that the renovations were the reason that she had been missing at home for so long.  The video ends after she skips to the moving day and reveals the exquisite finishings in the house.

Meanwhile, the Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta star also held a birthday party in Atlanta, and among the guests were some of her costars like Shekinah Anderson, who gave a speech to the birthday girl. Shekinah wasn’t the only one with kind words, many others also shared their experiences and kind words with the Jim Screechie singer.

In one clip she shared on her Instagram, patrons told Spice just how much she meant to them, including one who spoke about the time she lost someone, and Spice contacted her weekly to check up on her.

In the clip shared, Spice went into a lengthy prayer asking for blessings for the party’s patrons. The music selection from the short clip posted included soca songs and Damian Marley’s hit Welcome to Jamrock which was a hit for the patrons.

The patrons seemed to follow the dress code for the most part and were seen walking around with a blue drink. Needless to say, the theme of the party was everything blue.

Fans showered the single mom with praise, like this fan who said: “Spice, as a single mom of a daughter, this video had me crying like someone died. A REAL mother sacrifices for their children. She will go without for herself and give to her babies no matter the age. I felt your heart through this screen❤️. When our children are happy, we are happy. Blessings to you and your beautiful children. Much love from 🇭🇹 to 🇯🇲.”

Another fan added: “I really love this!!! They made me cry when they finished reading their cards. Their pure joy and humbleness is unmatched. God bless toy toy bout she waah spen di night, like she neva hear seh a fi dem di house 😂😂😂 n den nicho bout Wifi 😂😂😂 love it!”

Spice has always been upfront about her genuine love for her children, and this video shows how much she’s willing to do to ensure their happiness.
