Dancehall songstress Jada Kingdom is currently basking in the spotlight as three of her new songs this week are all currently trending in the Top Ten of YouTube Jamaica.

“Real number one trending gyal!”, she captioned a new photo on Instagram today to celebrate.  The caption caught the attention of her former rival, Shenseea, who first coined the expression with her hit song  Trending Gyal (2018).  Shenseea threw her support behind Jada and endorsed her post with a slight correction via the comments, “talk trute! #TRENDING GYALS”.

Kingdom and Shenseea were in a very publicized feud for over the last two years.  Thankfully, all has been forgiven and the deejays have since squashed their beef following the death of Shenseas’s motherJada publicly sent her condolences, after which she declared that she was done with feuds against other entertainers.

It is safe to say that they are now fully in support of each other after fans noticed, last week, that they were following each other again on Instagram.

The entertainer, born Jada Ashanti Murphy, first gained popularity on Instagram in 2016 as a swimwear model. She burst onto the Dancehall scene with her smash hit, Banana.

Among her new releases is a feature on Popcaan’s Fixtape called Suh Mi Luv It which currently sits at No. 7.

The official visuals for Tek It which features the fast-rising dancehall newcomer, Skillibeng comes in at No. 2.

However, the song playing on everyone’s radio is her new single WiN. After almost a week at the No. 1 spot, the popular hit currently sits at No. 9.  WiN, which has gotten over a million views on YouTube, is a song which Kingdom says she was finally able to do with confidence to represent where she has come from.

The video, which was shot at her home in Bull Bay and featured many members of her family, and gave fans a real feel of how Jada grew up. As Jada said in a thank you video last week, “nothing was manufactured about it.”
