D’Angel Reveals Why She’s Always Showing Off Her Body
Dancehall diva D’Angel is known for being quite proud of her body and very unapologetic about showing it off.
In an Instagram post three days ago, she says “Them: “Why do you always show your body off? Me: “If you work your ass off, make sacrifices and buy a Ferrari, would you keep it in the garage?”
The 42-year-old singer, whose real name is Michelle Downer, was also recently interviewed on Onstage with Winford Williams on Saturday, where she went into more detail about her love of her body. It seems she is happy to continue on her path to promote self-love, as she also debuted her latest single, called Exposed on the show.
D’Angel said that she’s been in the business for 15 years now and was finally ready to come out with an album because of this latest single. “I’m a dancehall and reggae artiste. I want an album to showcase the both sides of D’ Angel. The stronger side of D’Angel and the fun side of D’Angel, the happy side, everything,” she said.
She revealed that she will drop an EP first to be called Exposed before dropping her full album.
The concept for the song came after her pictures from OnlyFans, the adult entertainment social media site, were leaked. Subscribers usually have to pay to see their favourite celebrities in a more intimate way on the platform.
She said that someone went on to the site subscribed and then leaked her photos.
Something she said did not phase her as she believed that her photos were representative of “perfect body art.”
She described the fan who leaked her photos as obsessed and added that she is definitely not ashamed of her body. D’Angel also explained to Williams that she decided to go onto Onlyfans because of the cornavirus pandemic and the fact that her sexy photos usually go viral anyway. She said the leak was a blessing in disguise because now more people were subscribing and she has been elevated to be the representative of Jamaican women using the platform.
Things seem to be working out for the One Man singer, who said she now has a security detail to ensure she remains safe.
D’ Angel is so serious about her body and keeping in shape that she joked that her legs were insured. “I’m grown and sexy, I’m a confident woman and even in myself I really motivate a lot of women to just be confident in themselves and love yourself for who you are.”
The secret to her longevity was drinking plenty of water and minding her own business she joked. She added that of course she misses performing live but until then she’s going to keep generating money.
