Intence And I Waata’s Former Manager Reacts To Reports Of Shooting At A Party
Artiste manager Andrew ‘Boysie’ Campbell has vehemently denied claims that he was plotting the demise of his former artistes Intence and I Waata.
Campbell has addressed speculation that he was somehow involved in an incident involving Intence and I Waata, who were reportedly at a party recently in which threats were made against them and shots were fired. No one was reportedly injured.
According to the reports, the party was being held for one of Intence’s family members, however, given the restrictions on social gatherings, the location of the event was not disclosed.
The incident was attributed to the deejay’s limited selection of music, choosing to play songs from only a few specific artistes.
Others have speculated that the shots may have been linked to a larger issue, and that has prompted Campbell to speak out.
“Wake up dis morning only fi si dem a seh mi send man fi kill Intence and iwaata Jah jah,how mi fi kill mi Soldiers dem a just him bad mind want to manger a set up mi and di youth dem,” said Campbell in an Instagram post yesterday.
“Everything happens to dem inna di streets dem a seh boysie bro mi have bigger wale a sea fi thing abt,” added Campbell, who shared two throwback photos of himself posing alongside both Intence and I Waata.
Campbell further told his Instagram that people had committed grave injustices against him, however, such actions had never sparked thoughts of violent retribution in his mind.
He further told followers that he was primarily focused on his new artiste, Sanka.
Late last week it was reported that Intence and I Waata had cut ties with Campbell’s management company, Boysie Records.
“Dem move on to some people who never did a use dem inna the first stage and mi pay twice fi get dem out there,” Boysie said yesterday in reference to the split.
“A branch without a root is so weak but mi wish dem all the best,” he added.
I Waata recently released Detta Play , a song that has been a hit with Alkaline‘s Vendetta fans. The Formula singer gave a rare shoutout to I Waata and his new song when it was released on August 23.
