Shenseea Assumes The ‘Silver Tongue Devil’ In New Collab With Masego

Like promised, American-Jamaican artiste Masego has delivered new visuals for his single Silver Tongue Devil which features vocals from Dancehall princess, Shenseea on a smooth Afrobeat rhythm with his signature saxophone-infused impressions.

The latest track is produced by Grammy award-winning IzyBeats and will appear on Masego’s upcoming concept EP.

Silver Tongue Devil arrives less than a month after Masego made his return with a bittersweet anti-pandemic ballad, Passport and on October 14, a week following this release, the artiste will share his lyric video for the track featuring footage shot in Mexico by Lougè Delcy.

Masego is considered a traphousejazz singer and “one of music’s most promising chameleons” according to NPR Music. His new song invites fans and newcomers into the mythical mind of a man at a crossroad: What to do with such a silver-tongued devil? Well, the very domineering Shenseea told him:

“No matter what, you can be slick with that talk, if I’m willing I will let you know and if you are serious about your feelings, surely the loving will flow /Just a minute you take to br**k in a me, cause mi na make you wait too long. You wont let me go, I will love you, one thing me know, lock down devil in a hole … Masego bring flames to me soul,” she sings her temptation.

With a suave-sounding return, Masego meets her verses, “Silver tongued-girl, she call me cocky man, I know when I’m in trouble,” he sings on the resonating hook.

The music video is a reserved visualizer to find Masego engulfed in a mystic woodland complete with still waterscapes and rustic rock structures as he explores the environs with what appears to be his Silver Tongue Devil.
