Bounty Killer Says Fans Encouraged Vybz Kartel And Mavado To Diss Him
Dancehall veteran Bounty Killer has chastised some fans who he says were responsible for his former proteges, Vybz Kartel and Mavado disrespecting him and leaving the Alliance collective.
He made the statement below a post on his Instagram page where he had uploaded a snippet of a past stage show performance that included a number of Alliance members at the time such as Kartel and Elephant Man. He captioned the clip, “Uno General di King of Kingston with brothers and sons epic fun“.
However when a fan, identified as Morelifeentnyja, commented “How come we caan live so good whether pon stage or ina real life? Yow killa mi feel sey u a di force fi bring all di artist dem together and mek dem realize how important the ting fi set….strength in numbers people…killa want what’s best for all uno..” the Warlord’s response was that he wouldn’t be trying to do something like that again.
“Not again when I had everybody United ppl said I was fighting out other artiste when I was actually uniting them then the same fans turned around and encouraged Kartel and Vado to dissed me and leave Alliance then today they all wants to see we reunited sad case I’m fine I did my part I showed the world what it could be or should when we United,” the Dancehall legend remarked.
When another fan, SampleKing13 commented “Longing to see unity like this 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌 1general set the pace,” Killer again replied, “Not again bcuz I’m very discouraged by the same fans dem who helped to mashed up the unity by encouraging Kartel and Vado to dissed me and leave Alliance now they all want to see us reunited makes no sense bro.”
It is well known that Bounty had a falling out with his former proteges, starting with Kartel who launched a lyrical onslaught on the Alliance after he had jumped ship and kickstarted his Gaza Empire. Mavado had led the defense at the time going toe to toe with the Worl’ Boss but he too would later decide to call it quits after a disagreement with Killer.
And it seems that Bounty apparently still has not forgiven Mavado. “Big man thing killa a mi dj but Vado defend alliance wen some man fraid fi answer Kartel Vado never hide“, another fan commented.
Killer answered, “Did he defends me when Waste Cross his cousin dissed me too no only when Kartel did?”
Another commentator tried to get Bounty Killer to acknowledge the role that Mavado played in tackling Vybz Kartel with “he still defend you thought kartel told you suck you mmmm.”
But Bounty replied, “U still didn’t answer the question if u only wants to defend me when it suits u then It’s a ulterior motives if u cyaah defend me against ur own blood then lift up dawg”.
Further commenting on the video clip, Killer added that “never again u will see such love and harmony in dancehall bccz with this grab inna barrel all for themselves attitudes a str8 low altitude.”
