American Rapper YK Osiris Belts Out Jah Vinci’s Dancehall Hit ‘Baby Girl I’m Alone’

Jah Vinci is certainly feeling a buzz after his song Baby Girl I’m Alone went viral after American rapper/singer YK Osiris uploaded a video of himself belting out the chorus.

Singing along to the track while driving, the Worth It artiste seems to be feeling the essence of the music that Jah Vinci was trying to convey by matching the range of the former Gaza Empire member.

The song was released in 2009 but it seems to have made an impression on the young singer some eleven years after. It’s uncertain what led to him singing the track and making the upload, but he seems he was feeling a bit emotional during his rendition.

Jah Vinci uploaded the video to his Instagram page which has been viewed over forty thousand times. He captioned it “music is life!!! Name or tag the artist singing one of my hit track (praying emoji). #iamtheworldsinger.”

There has been a number of comments coming forward with a number of persons giving the former Gaza stand out his props.

One Instagram user commented ‘1 of my fav jahvinci” with a heart emoji. Another commented “chune badder than bad” while another declared “this song brings back memories str888. Dada God melody flow style & lyrics based to boombo”.

This exposure is certain to be beneficial for Jah Vinci especially with his plans to release an EP in short order. The EP will be released through NotNice Records and he has so far released You Alone as the first single from the set.

YK Osiris has developed quite a fanbase since his breakthrough in 2017 and his track Worth It was certified platinum. His latest track Money Keep Coming has been getting heavy rotation.

Baby Girl I’m Alone was released on the Alter Ego riddim in 2009 and was a major success for the former protege of Jamaica’s top lyricist, Vybz Kartel.
