Shenseaa To Be Featured On Major Lazer’s Fourth Album
It’s been a rollercoaster of a year for sultry Dancehall vixen Shenseaa, featuring both losses and triumphs. Earlier this year she lost her mother, with whom she shared a very close relationship with, crashed her vehicle, and now as she bravely got back into her career she can record a major triumph. She will be featured on Major Lazer’s fourth studio album- Music Is The Weapon.
It is a major accomplishment for her considering Major Lazer’s first three albums Guns Don’t Kill People… Lazers Do in 2009, Free the Universe in 2013, and Peace is the Mission in 2015 has done incredibly well on global charts. Shenseea will be on a track called Tiny along another artiste, Beam.
The new album is expected to be released on October 23. At least 12 tracks are expected and Jamaican star artiste Busy Signal and rising star Skip Marley are also expected to make appearances.
Shenseea excitedly shared the news using an Instagram story. She said: “Guess who’s on Major Lazer’s album? I know I’m on the toilet, but I’m the s@#t.”
Major Lazer is a renowned Jamaican-American electronic dance music trio, which includes record producer Diplo, and DJs Walshy Fire and Ape Drums. It was founded in 2008 by Diplo and Switch, but Switch left. Rumors floating around the industry have suggested that this could be the final Major Lazer album. It will be their first album to be released since Jillionaire left the group and was replaced by Ape Drums.
The group has worked with several international recording artistes and has a lot of global appeal. It will definitely be another signal boost for the Shen Yeng Queen’s career.
