New Music Videos From Vybz Kartel, Masicka, Tommy Lee Sparta, Rytikal And Intence
Rounding-up a select few, here are new Dancehall videos this week. Enjoy exclusive highlights, reviews, and accompanying music videos for each below.
In no particular order:
Vybz Kartel Ft. Likkle Vybz, Demarco, Spragga Benz – Jump On The Beat 3Mix
Not your typical remix, this one is dubbed the “3Mix” and is the new rendition of Vybz Kartel’s previously released track Jump On The Beat from his Of Dons And Divas album, which released back in June.
The 3Mix features his progeny, Likkle Vybz, (that appeared on the original release with the 6ix Boss, Squash), along with the iconic Spragga Benz and Demarco who also directed the very bawdy music video.
The Worl Boss’ presence is felt everywhere though he’s physically void in the new display. This we see from the plot; a gloomy jail cell, housing a throne-style chair where orange-suited arms flail to the sides. Demarco and Spragga join with their verses in similar underground settings surrounded by a convoy of body-banging girls.
Produced by Short Boss Muzik & Vybz Kartel Muzik, check out the new visuals for Jump On The Beat 3Mix here –
Masicka – I Wish
Masicka is hankering for mercy and forgiveness in his new single, I Wish. Crooning on the hook, “Yes I wish, mummy can you forgive me for living like this? Tell me youth dem fi kill me for living like this …”
Directed by RD Studios, the illustrative visuals scenarios what appears to be a sacrificial offering of a lamb for his sins. Dripping in blood he walks through an uninhabited building to meet with a small group of evangelists who take him though the process.
Produced by Genahsyde/1Syde Records, beat by Adde and Mixed & Mastered by Dre Day, check out the music video for I Wish here –
Tommy Lee Sparta – Easy Enuh
Goth general, Tommy Lee Sparta is back imparting fear and gore like no other can. Growling his ruthless rhymes about the many dexterous ways he can exterminate his rivals… “Fi kill dem it easy enuh,” he also demonstrates his expert skillset by cocking his gun with his teeth.
The deejay dials things back, presenting a pretty sketchy music video with un-choreographed talents seemingly doing what they please to put on a show.
Produced by Staxx, Dinero and Flo1 Musiq, watch the new visuals for Easy Enuh with Tommy Lee here –
Rytikal & Street Gena – Arcus
Hot heads, Rytikal and Street Gena say, “Well a nuttn fi get mi head brimmy yo,” but that’s not the real threat, their Arcus is. “People ah dead when the Arcus a beat,” they promise then go on to list several other styles of weaponry that they use on their murderous exploits.
Surrounded by a thug looking crew, brandishing artilleries of their own, the two deejays walk through the streets of a inner city locale as they deliver their merciless lyrics in the music video.
Produced by Grab Dem Records / X-Kaliba Records / EastSyde Records, watch the visuals for Arcus here –
Intence – Name
Boasting his invincibility and richness, Yeng Badness deejay, Intence released his new single entitled Name yesterday. He mentions his recent car crash, “Di odda day mi crash the Benz, now is a Bimma mi a steer,” in a way of telling his haters that he’s an unstoppable force.
The video finds the “top man in a di place” liming with an entourage of friends and female admirers alike, simply conceding in the backdrop.
Produced by Zimi Entertainment and Mixed & Mastered by Franc White, check out Intence in the official music video for Name here –
