Nesbeth To Sign The ‘Blood Letter’ On Black Friday
November 27, 2020 will be forever etched in the memory of reggae artiste Nesbeth as a historic event as he will simultaneously launch a song and video, ‘Blood Letter’ for the first time in his long career.
“Honestly it wasn’t planned or maybe its just coincidental that I’m releasing my song and video on Black Friday”,” Nesbeth said.
‘Blood Letter’ is produced by Nesbeth and will be released on the same label A.M.E.N. as his monster hit single ‘My Dream’.
“Just like ‘My Dream’ is my dream but when you sing it, it becomes your dream. So you can use the song for your own. Blood Letter is on a bouncy beat because it targets the younger generation. Dealing with them, you realize they have a short time span. They are not a generation that asks ‘we are here and how did we get here?”. They are more of ‘we are here and how do we move about’ and that’s how the beat came around. It’s immediate and in-the-moment,”Nesbeth said.
Nesbeth waxed philosophical as he summed up the prospects of this new generation of youths.
“If youths fail, we cause them to fail. Something seems off and we are losing the younger generation. We need just about everyone to give into self love and pull together,” he said.
The punch line of the song is stark, troubling and almost Doomsday-like. It goes: “in crimson ink, I write to whom it may concern, if we continue to die we will let it burn”.
“This is simply telling us that we can’t be oppressed and it’s not just about what we do but when we choose to and how we do it. I strongly believe it’s in our best interest to incorporate the younger generation and I hope this complete package connected to them the way it should be,” he said.
Nesbeth further stated that “every corner of the world will carry the blood letter.”
Blood Letter will be distributed by Zojak Worldwide Distribution.
