Konshens Confirms He’s A Single Man

Well it’s official, Dancehall artiste Konshens says he’s now a single man.

The Backaz deejay confirmed the split from his now ex-wife Latoya Wright on Wednesday, by sharing a silent video tagged “single,” complete with the caption, “Me good she good. WE good, Grow and learn. Almost a year… No more speculation,” however the post has since been deleted.

It was just about a month ago that Wright staggered fans with the news about the breakup. During an Instagram Q&A session, where she promised to “keep it real,” someone asked, “Since you keeping it real, are you single?” to which she responded, “Yes. 8 months and counting! Funny how y’all went to your fingers.”

Konshens also commented on the relationship last month, though somewhat vague, he corroborated Wright’s statements. In one of his own Instagram Q&A sessions, a fan expressed their concerns about his marriage, saying, “Can you please fix whatever is broken between you an latts. I loved y’all together. The deejay responded, “REAL life no fairytales. Thanks for the love tho.”

He would then go on to leave fans even more confused when he appeared on an episode of Magnum’s ‘Spice It Up’, hosted by dancehall star Spice just a few days later.

“Listen, I am married… Come outta people life,” he said when Spice asked if he was in a relationship. Although, there is no telling how long before the show was actually recorded.

While Konshens and his wife have been back and forth with their relationship over the years, it seems that this time around it’s for good. The two tied the knot just over 3 years ago on November 19, 2017, at the Fort Lauderdale Marriot Harbour Beach Resort and Spa in Florida.

Their son Liam is 5 years old and Konshens also has a teenage daughter from a previous relationship.
