Skillibeng Drops Scorching New Video For Single ‘Hot’: Watch

Dancehall artiste Skillibeng is ripping up the airwaves with brand new visuals for his single Hot. The music video was released yesterday and has already shot to the No.1 spot on YouTube ^JM.

Directed by RD Studios, the music video shows Skillibeng surrounded by an inferno and pretty much playing with fire. Everything from the newspaper he reads to the ramen noodles he’s about to consume are blazing with steam.

Other scenes find Skilli zipping down the Norman Manley Highway, shirtless on his Yamaha Sports bike, a sequence which ends with his face transforming into a skull on fire.

The 24-year-old EastSyde star boy is clearly in-the-know of how Hot he is right now but if you couldn’t quite sum it up in words he did all that for you. Unleashing an unbothered lyrical flow on the get-go, Skilli says, “Mi name hotta dan how mi spliff hot … bell ah go off when mi name mention.”

In the track, Skillibeng distinguishes himself as the pioneer of new-gen Dancehall – throwing shade on other deejays he says, “ Ah my style dem a run di place een. EastSyde nuh do racketeering. Mi build flow pon rapid daily. Mi constantly make hits pon hits. Nuh debating. Mi run the game …”

The Mr. Universe deejay goes on to talk about people running their mouths to tarnish his name but he just finds it funny, “Mi just a laugh, watch di pu—y dem chat, kudeh.” Instead, it fuels him to drop even more detonating lyrics, “Mi use dem negative energy and make one time-traveling machine gun in a di mention. A bay big long gun Skilli fire when man a roll clip well ram up, one in the head top.”
