Jamaican Singer, ‘Hawaiian Rose’, Reported Missing
Hawaiian Rose, an aspiring Jamaican singer, has been reported missing.
The 22-year-old woman, whose real name is Xavier Wollery of East Avenue, Linstead, St Catherine, was last seen on Thursday, January 14. She is of brown complexion and slim build, according to the Jamaica Gleaner.
The Gleaner also reported that she was last seen at home around 6 PM, wearing black shorts, a pink blouse, and black slippers.
Hawaiian Rose released her debut single, Don’t Waste Time , on the Trillionaire Records label in July 2019.
When asked about her stage name, Rose told the Jamaica Observer, “The word Hawaiian means ‘a female flower’ and roses are my favourite flower, so it seemed like a great idea to pair the names to show the quality of my music and who I am — classy, fashionista lady, but one of quality and elegance, no raunchiness, or lewdness.”
The aspiring singer added that she had high expectations for her music career. “Watch out! I’m coming,” she said.
Anyone with knowledge of Wollery’s whereabouts should contact the Linstead Police at 876-985-2680, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
