Stonebwoy And Jahmiel Set The Year In ‘Motion’ With New Visuals: Watch
Ghanaian artist Stonebwoy recently touched down on the rock for his new video, Motion featuring Jamaican Dancehall artist Jahmiel.
They last collaborated on 2019’s inspiring tribute, Mama, and are setting the year in motion with some upful vibes. It’s the latest single to get a video treatment from the Dancehall, Afrobeats, and Reggae titan’s 2020 album, Anloga Junction , which also has appearances from Keri Hilson and Zlatan.
Stonebwoy and Jahmiel trade bars on the long-term rewards of ambition on the Fox Beatz produced cut. “Slow motion, better than no motion/ Don’t watch the condition/ It took me a time to be a champion,” they preach in the chorus. The project is Jahmiel’s second release of the year, and sees the ‘great man’ reprising his mantra of ‘makin’ moves everyday’ in order to ‘float over enemies.’
Director J Willz unveils a three-minute version of an action thriller for the visual treatment. Sporting bulletproof vests and walkie-talkies, the two rescue victims from a bunker with an athletic, all-female team of assassins.
The video shows the hours of painstaking work and ‘intelligence’ that go into the successful endeavour, a clever summary of their earnest track. “Jahmiel, as we dey move, we dey conquer (chuu)/ Every ghetto and bunker/ My enemies dem dem surrender,” Stonebwoy spits.

The duo did an awesome job matching the song’s energy with the visuals, and fans are here for it. ”Who else has listened to this more than a hundred times already???” while another wrote, “That Jahmiel voice and Stonebwoy’s golden lyrics. Love the vibe.”
