Sean Paul’s Wife Jodi Henriques Keeping It Real About Recent Plastic Surgery
Jodi ‘Jinx’ Henriques, the wife of Grammy-award winning Dancehall icon Sean Paul, was apparently exposed (but not really) recently by her fitness trainer for a few cosmetic enhancements she had done on her body.
The TV personality and popular vlogger is known to frequent the gym more than the average person, even incorporating the expertise of fitness guru, Patrice White into her workout regime. She has always maintained a lean and fit-looking physique, however, after two kids she was unhappy with the toll motherhood had taken on her body.
It’s understood that Jodi underwent cosmetic surgery on her breasts and tummy.
She credits her plastic surgeon: Dr. Dawes for what she raves is an amazing job on a few corrective surgeries. He did procedures to fix her diastasis recti, an umbilical hernia, and cesarean scar, which was sewn too tightly by her OBGYN and ultimately created a small pouch on her lower abdomen.
In a recent Instagram video, Patrice and Jodi were in casual banter about a pair of new sneakers Jodi joked she could finally afford after 4 years of wanting to treat herself. Beaming with pride, she showed off her new gears, but a sarcastic Patrice took the opportunity to nag her nonetheless.
“Guys, so she can spend her money and buy breast and she can fix her tummy… you know unfortunately as mummies we all go through it when the baby you know, the babies reck us, and she couldn’t afford to buy a sneakers and she has finally bought a sneakers,” she joked.
Jodi remained clearly unbothered by Patrice’s chiding, she even chimed in, “When you buy the breast, you get the new outfit,” to further emphasize the point her trainer was making but also confirm that she in fact had work done.
The mom of two kids has been quite transparent in the past about her plastic surgery journey. She has discussed the topic several times on a weekly Instagram series, Twos-days With Tricky, which she hosts with her sis, Traci Stewart Roman.
Jodi has gone from evidently recovering from her tummy tuck on the show and answering questions about the experience to playing pranks about additional work she may or may not have had done. She has also used the platform to clap back at critics who have called her “plastic” and who have scrutinized her for going under the knife.
Jodi also has a YouTube channel, This is … Jodi, where she has spoken openly about her surgeries and the struggles she endured after her pregnancies that led her there.
In one of her videos, she wrote, “Becoming a mother has taught me a lot of things one of which is patience but Jah know after my second child Remi all the working out, crunches, drastic dieting, physical therapy did not help my big belly. My patience ran out and I decided to get surgery….”
