HoodCelebrityy Is Tired Of ‘Ungrateful’ People In New Music Video: Watch
As we await her new record on Tony Kelly’s Bookshelf Riddim, which she teased last month, New York-based Dancehall artist, HoodCelebrityy has a new music video to hold us over. This is the visual cover of her single Ungrateful, which finds the 29-year old Portmore native simply up to her neck with all these unappreciative leeches in her life.
The KSR Group-produced single now has a video treatment courtesy of director, Dream Team Digital showing the singer being chauffeured around the Big Apple in a sleek black Lamborghini and in other shots laying down some smooth Dancehall inspired dance moves.
In her intro, however, things are a little less vibrant. HoodCelebrityy invites viewers to see her personal dilemma with friends and family she claims are ungrateful, “No matter what you do for them, they’re never happy. If you do, they complain and if you don’t do, they still complain,” she sadly admits while sitting in with a therapist.
“At this point … I really have to put me first now and do what’s best for me,” she continues then launches into this self-appreciative single.
The Jamaica-born singer picks up the beat, tauntingly dishing her reproach on a certain ungrateful and unsatisfied individual then goes into her usually treble sounding tones on the hook to quote a popular Bible lesson; “Who God bless no man curse,” in a catchy rhythm.
The track certainly has an ear-worming effect, the Walking Trophy singer, whose real name is Tina Pinnock sure has a way of creating these catchy flows.
