Reggae artiste Nesbeth was the sole act at an event dubbed ‘Clothes & Pose’ in a club in Philadelphia over the weekend.

“The reception was overwhelming with persons singing along and it was just overall a magnificent show. It felt good to be out there performing for my fans,” Nesbeth said.

The event, which was organised by One John Entertainment, observed all the appropriate COVID-19 protocols and featured selectors like Peter Blacks, Zan Kartel, Papa Scully, Sky Juice and Do Chico. The artiste is now turning his attention towards the promotion of his latest single, ‘Blood Letter’ which was released last year.

The ‘Blood Letter’ which was released simultaneously with a music video,  is a powerful representation of the struggles people of the black race have endured for centuries. The video has racked up over 200,000 views so far.

“The response has been phenomenal..it’s spreading like wild fire. The fans appreciate the raw emotions, the storyline, everything,” an enthusiastic Nesbeth said.

“This song is trying to pull the people together. Our weakness as human beings is the fact that we’re separated and so our strength is going to come when we’re unified. This song aims to bring us together again in a way that fosters change.”

The singer has done a blizzard of interviews with radio stations in Africa, Europe, the United States of America and the Caribbean.

“I have also benefitted from promotion in relation to several podcasts and other social sites,” Nesbeth disclosed.

Nesbeth is best known for the singles, My Dream, ‘Boardhouse’ and ‘Gunz Out’.
