Dancehall artist Rygin King came under attack on Instagram after he shared a photo of the mother of one of his children on the platform, wishing her a happy birthday.

In the now-deleted post, the popular dancehall entertainer wrote, “Happy birthday 🎁🎊🎂 to my baby mother wishing you blessings on top of blessing.”

“It’s ur day enjoy it. love from ur baby daddy,” added Rygin King who shared a photo of the woman holding his son.

The post sent social media users into a frenzy, with many slamming the post as unfair to his first “baby mother”.

According to some fans, the entertainer’s gushy post for his son’s mother was disrespectful, as he had not made the same type of post for his daughter’s mother, who had been there with him prior to his rise to fame.

Rygin-King-1“Dem man yah no easy at all smh can imagine how baby mother number 1 feel smh,” said one Instagram user, noting that the post was ” asking for trouble”.

“Well he didn’t make a post for her bday so why made one up for this one? 🤔😒 eeeh eeeh 🤯,” added another.

One fan came to the entertainer’s rescue noting that he had in fact made a post for his daughter’s mother, though admitting that it was later pulled from the platform.

“He did post her for her bday. He just doesnt keep it on his page. This one will be removed too after a while,” said the user who sought to clarify the disparity in visibility given to the two women.

“Man disrespectful eeh, then again these girls love the antics,” added another.

Rygin King, who is a father of two, has been vocal about his love for his children.

In 2018, he dropped the single Hush for his daughter, who he said he would do just about anything to secure her happiness.

After a near-death incident last year in which his convoy was shot up, the entertainer again reiterated his undying love for his kids, noting that he was blessed to be alive and able to see his son and daughter grow up.

The trap Dancehall trendsetter stepped back into the studio following the shooting and his rocky recovery, and delighted fans with releases such as the clapback at his attackers, Mission, the girl’s anthem, Glu, Cheddar, and Energy.

The Tuff singer has also teased the release of an album.
