TeeJay’s Dancing, Nailah Blackman’s Looks ‘Turn Up’ In New Soca Banger: Watch
Jamaican artist Teejay joined the ranks of Dancehall acts with soca bangers following the release of his new collab and video, Turn Up. The Uptop Boss and Trinidad’s Watermelon Gyal Nailah Blackman dropped off the sunny, island-tinged clip on the weekend. Press play above.
“It’s always “Fiah” when Trinis and Jamaicans link up,” they both shared on their IG accounts. Turn Up is part of the groovy Candy Shack Riddim produced by Stadic and Jonny Blaze, which also features Kemar Highcon, Konshens, and Mr. Lexx.
Shot between Jamaica and Trinidad, the visuals play into the song’s party vibe with lots of wining and flag waving as TeeJay toasts to Caribbean ladies. “She seh she come from Trinidad town/ An when she walk her bumper roun’/ yuh tun up like Stone Love sound,” the On & On deejay starts off.
