Bounty Killer Shares Unreleased Vybz Kartel Collab From 2006: “Good Looking”
The Warlord went into his archives recently, treating fans to a flashback of a song featuring none other than his former protégé Vybz Kartel. The snippet of the unreleased girls anthem from 2006, titled Good Looking, contains bars from both hitmakers on their sexual prowess.
“Last files: Good Looking 2006 PriceLess Records/ScareDem Production @vybzkartel x @1unogeneral,” Dancehall veteran Bounty Killer said of the minute-long clip of the bedroom banger.
Bounty’s enduring career has spawned many hits and counting, so it’s no surprise there’s a vault with plenty more where that came from.
“You know it’s Warlord and Vybz Kartel/ bring di sittn come you know badman nah tell/ Listen mi, chicken head come instant plucking/ From unnu good looking, call Warlord booking,” they spit in the song’s cheeky lines.

Not surprisingly, the ‘Father & Son’ collaboration sparked several positive comments including “this tune would still dun a dance alla now”, as well as “bad genna … @grungaadzilla real godfather inna music.”
Bounty Killer is venerated in the industry for his selfless, tireless efforts to provide platforms for up-and-coming artists. Such efforts included forming the Alliance in the early 2000s, which benefitted nascent talents such as Wayne Marshall, Bling Dawg, and, of course, di Teacha.
Before that, it had influenced Bounty Killer’s decision to start his own record label in the late ’90s. The eponymously titled PriceLess Records came about as the General felt other deserving acts, who were also his friends, weren’t getting due recognition.
“It’s just my way of giving back. Elephant Man, Nitty Kutchie and dem man deh, they were from Seaview Gardens, and I felt like I owe it to them to expose their talents,” Bounty told THE STAR some years ago, adding that he wasn’t looking to sign anyone or benefit from their talent.
“Helping artistes and seeing their growth is something you should not stop doing. That is why I started Priceless and Scare Dem label. [It] was just to help my friends, it wasn’t because I wanted to become a producer”.
Hits such as Amen So Let It Be, Scare Him as well as the Valley Of Death Riddim appear on the imprint. Vybz Kartel lauded the Copper Shot deejay’s knack for honing raw talent in a wordy viral post last year.
“I wonder if people really appreciate how great this man really is. Is just a pity Dancehall doesnt have a well organised and streamlined industry that would have all the to truly celebrate the greatness of Dancehall “Gads” ( pun intended ),” Kartel said.
Bounty, who’s always looked out for the incarcerated deejay, even defending him after a perceived diss from the great Gargamel Buju Banton at a 2002 stage show, concluded his lengthy, heartfelt response with “Love you, son.”
Official releases featuring the father and son duo include High Altitude (2006) with Baby G, In My Eyes with Wayne Marshall (2004), Gal Clown (2001), Full Up Of Grass (2006) with Bling Dawg.
Killer followed the upload of the unreleased banger with eye-catching artwork of the “#fada&son” by Kaya Canvas Art captioned “Graphiic ya maad neat photo strapping😎”.
Reggae crooners Jesse Royal and Sanchez gave the display a thumbs up, while the Fever deejay, who was tagged, sent several fire emojis to his former mentor.
