Two Dancehall Deejays Arrested, Charged For Lottery Scamming

Two men, who claimed to be recording artists, were arrested and charged with lottery scamming offenses on Thursday when members of the Anti-Lottery Scamming Task Force carried out a special operation in Ducketts Road, Cambridge, St James.

The men, who have been identified as Bryan Pryce, 24, and Navar Gayle, 20, have been charged with possession of identity information with intent and possession of access device. They are of Ducketts Road addresses.

During the operation, the police also seized two firearms and 175 rounds. Two cellular phones and a composition notebook belonging to Pryce and Gayle were analyzed and found to contain identity information of persons residing overseas.

Additionally, an adjacent open lot was searched which led to the recovery of two Taurus 9mm pistols along with two magazines containing thirty-three 9mm rounds and a plastic bottle containing one hundred and thirty-two (132) 9mm rounds.
