D’Angel, 42, Stuns In Black Two-Piece Bikini: “Sexiness Isn’t Being Young”
Lady of the Dancehall D’Angel recently shared a poolside photo of herself, posing in a black and blue two-piece bikini.
In the Instagram photo, the 42-year-old songstress, whose real name is Michelle Downer, leaves very little to the imagination as she posed by the water. “Sexiness isn’t being young, hot and wearing a bikini,” she wrote in the caption. “It’s being powerful and feeling like you belong in your skin and it feels good.”
Among the wave of fire and heart emojis, her fans wrote “Good body ova yah so” and “So true but dangel hot girl can make that statement with the g string bikini. Makes it even more interesting!!! Inspired to be fab at any age.”

D’ Angel takes her fitness regime very seriously but joked that her legs were insured during a recent interview with OnStage. “I’m grown and sexy, I’m a confident woman and even in myself I really motivate a lot of women to just be confident in themselves and love yourself for who you are.”
The secret to her longevity was drinking plenty of water and minding her own business, she joked.
Revealing that she has never had an issue maintaining a certain standard when it comes to her body, the singer told the STAR that pregnancy was her biggest challenge.
“After my son, I wanted to get back my body to where it was before, so I started a protein diet immediately. Me wear girdle, sleep inna girdle, bathe inna girdle, everything inna girdle because I had to get back my belly flat,” she said. “I cut out carbohydrates clean, clean. Me start drink me tea without sugar and dem thing deh. A lot of fruits and vegetables, fish, and eventually, the weight just started coming off.”
“My job requires fitness in terms of breathing, so a lot of walking on the hill keeps me going,” she said about exercise and fitness. “It is important that as an artiste I don’t run out of breath when I’m on stage, and the hills help with my stamina, plus, the outdoors with nature sometimes put yuh in a different mind space.”
The Stronger singer stepped out for fellow artist Queenie’s beach wedding over the weekend, slaying in a gold dress. “Living my life to the fullest,” she captioned one post.
