Romeich Pledges To Aid 50 Jamaican Families Facing Hardship
Romeich Entertainment will be donating groceries to 50 families who are in need and he is also seeking to enlist other persons to come on board and mirror his act of philanthropism.
Romeich posted on his Instagram page: “I want to help at least 50 family this week to even have some groceries in their home. All my top people and popular people and people out there looking in I know it tuff on all of us but I’m willing to accept some help to use my platform for us to come together and help my people of Jamaica that are in need!!! Notice I said in need of help!!! Who helping me DM me NOW NOW NOW. Let’s do this #oneteamone dream, @romeichentertainmemt.”
The post quickly generated 8000 likes with a lot of persons giving Romeich the thumbs up and stating that he is always helping the less fortunate. The move has since earned praise by fans on social media, with some calling for others to join the effort.

Last year, Romeich led a similar effort during which he gifted over $200,000 in cash and bought more than $400,000 worth of supplies to help a total of 29 families in a four-day period.
Last year, several Dancehall artists aided their communities with care packages.
One of the stars includes Alkaline, who donated cleaning supplies to the Maxfield Park Children’s Home in Kingston through his Alkaline Foundation. Dancehall superstar Jahmiel also recently gave back to his community, gifting necessary items such as non-perishable food and pampers to youths of Bull Bay in St Andrew.
Last year, Bounty Killer consistently gave back to his community as well as individuals through his Bounty Foundation. Notably, in June 2020,he made a cash donation of $50,000.00 towards a fundraising event being organized by the Clapham Primary School in Brighton, St. Elizabeth.
Truly the ‘Poor People Governor’, he also donated a wheelchair to a 14-year-old girl along with a cash donation of JA$100,000.00.
During the height of the financial turmoil caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, he donated care packages to a number of inner-city communities in Kingston, in addition to making charitable donations the Victoria Jubilee and Kingston Public hospitals.
