Dancehall Singer Renee 6:30 Enjoys ‘Baecation’ Time With Mystery Man: ‘No Face, No Case’
Dancehall artist Renee Six Thirty (6:30) was recently spotted living it up on the ‘Gram and laying low with her new man. Known for her viral catchphrase, “Mi glad mi come out come see dis”, Renee flipped the script when she blurred her new bae’s entire head, leaving only his toned legs and torso in the steamy pics.
“Baecation” she captioned the sunny San Jose, Costa Rica photos, but it turns out the Show Me Your Love singer is leaving her Instagram followers in the dark for now.
The Puppytail dancer turned singjay has been making the most of her recent career shift. She’s recorded a slew of singles so far, and is the only female artist featured on Vybz Kartel’s Dancehall Royalty EP on the track My Own World.
Though she told On Stage host Winford Williams she was single on the show’s Valentine’s Day episode, it seems she’s making strides in her love life as well.
Renee dropped by Winford’s show to debut her new single Loving Isaacs and Wilson, a cover of the track Love Is Overdue by Reggae legends Gregory Isaacs and Delroy Wilson.
“Now who’s gonna hold and squeeze me tight/ Now that he’s gone out of my life yeah/ Who’s gonna make me feel the way you used to do/ Now that my love is overdue,” she sings.
Renee suggested the song was for those “afraid of loneliness”, but who would be spending the special day alone. “All who nuh have nuh Valentines, unnu can join me and sing dis song”, she told Williams while explaining how “reminiscing on past heartbreak” influenced her attempt at the track.
“I got heartbroken in the past so listening to the song mi ah seh, no, dis bring back memories. That’s when me and mi manager come up wid the idea that let’s put the two songs together coz its really expressing how mi feel.”
When quizzed on whether those emotions were alive during recording, Renee said laughing, “Of course! Mi ah feel it an me ah memba di bwoy weh mash up mi head. It did very strong! Yuh neva been in love before Winford?”
That experience may be what sparked the secrecy on her “Baecation”. Renee had no issue showing off her sculpted curves in a skimpy, white one-piece, but thanks to a few quick swipes in an editing app, her mystery man’s entire head was erased.
Her friends and followers were amused by the move and sent their teasing and congratulations in the comments. “Dis ah di heights a slackness”, Moyann wrote, to which Renee answered, “me say cah make them take him.”
Dancehall singjay Stacious wrote, “Same so! Come thru goodie,” and Beat It singer D.I. chimed in “Girl white man will treasure you every step, guh thru”.
Others quipped “Headless tpc” and “This win”, meanwhile Desha Ravers, Dancing Rebel, and Tifa flooded the Fall In Love singer’s comments with laugh-cry emojis.
“No Face, No Case 😂😂😂,” quipped several fans.
