Leah Tavares-Finson Airs Out Critics Of Her Appearance At Queenie’s Wedding
Leah Tavares-Finson has time for negative comments about her appearance at Queenie’s wedding last week.
Tavares-Finson, sister to Damian ‘Jr. Gong’ Marley and mother of Dancehall deejay Jahvillani’s son, aired out several Instagram users who criticized her appearance at the ceremony at Hellshire Beach in St. Catherine, Jamaica on Saturday.
Queenie shared a photo from the celebration yesterday, which was captioned, “Its the queenie royal wedding. leo girl power 🔋woman empowerment ladies,” with a shout out to Leah for her support as a bridesmaid. Queenie’s husband Dwayne ‘Dowey’ Scarlett is pictured in the center with his arms around the waist of both women.
“He has two gorgeous women beside him but he’s focusing on Queenie,” commented one fan, but others had a different view of the display of friendship and support.
Instagram user, shaniqualexc, wrote, “Suttun bout dah whitey mi nuh too trus enuh queen,” followed by chardonay_chyna who said, “Me nuh trust the white gyol. Queenie watch r …coz the whole a we will tear up rass them love ppl man to much nun trust r nah lie”

Once she caught wind of the comments, Tavares-Finson clapped back at the naysayers in her Instagram Story.
“Let me address this here and NOW since you stupid f–ks want to annoy me on Mr. Holness weekend of purgatory!” she said. “First and foremost I was asked and invited to the people wedding and as a bridesmaid. Like yeah let’s turn up at people wedding to steal their man. Some of you are so bombo clate simple!”
“Secondly I sent a picture of the dress to Queenie BEFORE and she LOVED it so F–K OFFFFFFFF.”
“Lastly we ALL stood for the pic but in fine Queenie style she started waving and enjoying her goddam wedding! Look at the adoration on the man face! Lastly to the dawg c-nt sh-t who referred to me as GYOL go f–k you self and when you done chuck off deep and far into supm rotten.”
She ended her message with an apology to her family and “decent” people. “Ps sorry to my family & decent people whole had to endure reading this! Forgive me xoxo.”
Leah is one of two children shared by noted attorney and member of the Senate of Jamaica, Queen’s Counsel Tom Tavares-Finson, and former Miss World Cindy Breakspeare.
She and Clarks Pon Foot singer Jahvillani welcomed a son last year.
