Koffee To Headline ‘Best Of The Best’ Concert In Miami
Grammy Award-winning reggae sensation Koffee is among the headline acts billed for this year’s Best of the Best Concert in Miami. The event was cancelled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Organisers were eyeing a May return date, but they’ve settled on October 10.
The event’s organizer, Jabba, explained that the decision to push the date back until October was made in the patrons’ best interest.
“Taking into consideration the safety of our patrons, the uncertainty of the workforce and the climate of the travel industry, we decided to push Best of the Best to October for this one time only. This will allow persons to plan travel, hotel and feel more comfortable as the CDC guidelines are more conducive for our style of concert,” Jabba said in a statement sent out to the media over the weekend.
Since winning the Reggae Grammy last year, Koffee hasn’t slowed down any.
She struck gold again with Lockdown which is currently has more than 47 million views on YouTube. The multiple award-winning Toast celebrity wowed fans again with Lockdown when it won the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding International Song.
Joining Koffee on the show’s line-up are Dancehall Queen Spice; renowned lyricist and established artiste, Tanya Stephens; veteran Lady G and Soca Queen Alison Hinds. Ding Dong and Tarrus Riley have also been booked for the event set for the Bay Front Park in downtown Miami.
Organisers have disclosed that tickets purchased for the show last year are still valid and can be used to access this year’s event.
